A : Can I give you a hand?

K : Well, I could use some help, actually. This luggage is a bit too heavy.

A : It looks heavy. Where are you headed?

K : To the check-in counter for Singapore Airlines.

 

 

 

A : Can I give you a hand?

 

▶ give someone a hand = help someone

 

A : 도와드릴까요?

 

K : Well, I could use some help, actually. This luggage is a bit too heavy.

 

▶ can[could] use = need

e.g.

Can you use some money? = Do you need some money?

I could use some help. = I need some help.

 

K : 음, 실은 도움이 필요해요. 이 짐이 좀 무거워서요.

 

A : It looks heavy. Where are you headed?

 

▶ look + 형용사 : ~하게 보이다

e.g.

You look tired. "너 피곤해 보인다."

▶ Where are you headed? = Where are you going?

 

A : 무거워 보이는군요. 어디로 가세요?

 

K : To the check-in counter for Singapore Airlines.

 

K : 싱가폴 항공 체크인 카운터요.
