¿De dónde es usted? (= Where are you from?)

▶ de = from
▶ dónde = where
▶ 영어로 그대로 옮기면 From where are you?가 됩니다.

Soy de Alemania. (= I'm from Germany.)

¿Es de Berlín? (= Are you from Berlin?)

▶ Es 뒤에 주어 usted가 생략되어 있습니다.

Sí, soy de Berlín. (= Yes, I'm from Berlin.)
