more & much

This is more bigger than that. (X)
This is much bigger than that. (O)
"이것이 그것보다 훨씬 더 크군."

▶ 비교급을 강조할 때는 much나 a lot을 비교급 앞에 놓습니다. more는 3음절 이상의 형용사를 비교급으로 만들 때 사용합니다.

e.g.
 She is more beautiful than Cleopatra.
"그녀는 [클리어패츄라]보다 아름다운걸."

▶ beautiful의 비교급이 more beautiful입니다. 이 비교급을 강조하면 ⇒ She is much[= a lot] more beautiful than Cleopatra.
